From 1st May all telephone calls to and from the Practice will be recorded for Training and Monitoring Purposes

Doctors' surgeries are by appointment during the following hours:

Morning Surgeries: 09:00 to 11:10 Monday to Friday

Evening Surgeries: 14:00 to 18:10 Monday to Thursday and 14:00 to 17:.40 each Friday

Extended Hours: The Practice also offers extended hours appointments at Albion Street Clinic in St Helens.  The appointments are after 6.30 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and on a Sunday afternoon.  Please contact reception if you wish to book one of these appointments.

We try to offer an appointment within 48 hours whenever possible.  If you feel you must be seen urgently please tell the receptionist. You will then be asked to come to the next surgery and will be fitted in as soon as possible.  In order that we can maintain this system we ask you do not insist on an urgent appointment unless you are in significant discomfort or you feel your illness is potentially dangerous.  Patients who abuse this system will be challenged.

We regret that we cannot guarantee that you will see a particular doctor if you attend as a matter of urgency.  For routine appointments you may consult the doctor of your choice.

Requests for appointments can be made by phone or at the Health Centre between 08:30 and 18:30pm Monday to Friday.  You can also register with the practice for on line services and this will enable you to book and cancel appointments at your convenience, even when the surgery is closed.

Please do not ring before 08:30 except in an emergency. Please telephone and tell the receptionist if you are unable to keep an appointment to see the doctor or nurse.

Book Appointments Online via Patient Access

Please note: You must register first with the surgery to use the online appointment booking service. Appointments with the Nurse and Healthcare Assistant are NOT available to book on-line.  Please ring the Surgery to book an appointment with the Nurse or Healthcare Assistant.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
