BLOOD RESULTS - Please ring the surgery on 01744 882855 between 2pm and 5 pm, 3 days following your blood test.
Please do not be alarmed if you receive a message saying the results are back the following day. This DOES NOT necessarily mean they are abnormal. Sometimes capacity at the laboratory means that samples are processed quicker than at other busier times of the day/week.
Please note that if you ring before 2pm we will be unable to give the results over the phone. If you have on-line access blood results are available to view.

Named Accountable GP
You may or may not be aware that from April 2014 the Government required all GP practices to provide their patients aged 75 and over with a named GP. This provision was further rolled out to the remaining patients registered at the practice from April 2015. Every patient registered at this practice has now been allocated a named accountable GP. This GP will take lead responsibility for the coordination of all services required under the GP contract and ensure that they are delivered to each of our patients where required (based on the clinical judgment of the named accountable GP). However, the practice is very keen to point out that this in no way restricts the patients’ ability to see whichever GP they wish to see at the practice.
For ease, the surgery has allocated patients on the following basis:
Patients whose surname begins A to M will be allocated Dr Lowcock.
Patients whose surname begins N to Z will be allocated Dr Veltkamp.
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
GP Net Earnings
NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised, and the required disclosure is shown below. However it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.”
