Stephanie provides a first point of contact for patients with musculoskeletal disorders – problems affecting the joints, bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Social Prescriber

  • Rece Whitfield – My name is Rece Whitfield. I am Rainford Medical Centre’s social prescriber.

A social prescriber helps people by connecting them to a range of services and local community groups to support with social, emotional, and practical needs. I can help you reduce isolation and loneliness and improve general health and wellbeing, with social contact, emotional support, advice, and information.

I have lived in St Helens all my life; my hobbies are pretty much any sport but watching and playing Rugby League is where my passion is at. I love listening to music and going out on walks as it helps me to destress from life and take time out for myself. One of my top tips is you are the only one who can take time out for yourself so make sure you do it.
