I can assess and diagnose the problem, arrange appropriate investigations such as x-rays, bloods and scans, provide expert advice on management and refer on to a specialist service, such as an orthopaedic consultant if appropriate.

I have worked as a musculoskeletal physio for over 20 years, having graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy in 1998. In 2017 I completed my MSc in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at MMU. My research on the digital management of musculoskeletal problems was published earlier this year (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7305565). As well as my role at Rainford, I work as an Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioner at St Helens Hospital and also work in private practice.
